Can I try PhotoToss before my event?
Yes. The Free plan lets you create a project, collect photos, and run a full presentation with no credit card. Set it up now and it is ready whenever your event is.
Do guests need an app or account?
No. Anyone with your project link can add their photos from any phone or computer, with no app to install and no account to create. Only you, the host, need an account.
How many photos can I collect?
Free: up to 30 photos total and 2 per guest. Pro ($9.00/month): up to 250 photos, no per-guest limit. Max: up to 5,000 photos for photographers, DJs, schools and event teams. One photo counts as one upload.
What's the difference between Reveal and Collect mode?
Reveal is the photo guessing game: exactly two photos per person (throwback + current) with a hidden reveal. Collect lets you choose how many photos and what info to ask for, and plays a simple captioned slideshow.
Can I edit or remove photos before presenting?
Yes. You can edit a name or fun fact, rotate a photo, reorder people, or delete any entry before you present. There is no separate approval queue, so you are always in full control of what appears.
Can I customize the slideshow?
Yes. Pick a theme and pace, shuffle the order, turn confetti on or off, and loop it to replay. You can also write or tweak each caption and choose which side the reveal photo lands on.
How do I present?
Open your project and click Present for a fullscreen slideshow (arrow keys or space to advance, Escape to exit). It also works on a phone for smaller, in-hand groups.
Can I use it without internet?
The live presenter runs in your browser and needs internet. If your venue has no wifi, download the PowerPoint export ahead of time and play it offline anywhere.
What can I download?
A PowerPoint (.pptx) slideshow and a ZIP of all the photos, organized by contributor.
Do guests see each other's photos?
No. The upload page only lets each guest add their own photos. Nobody sees the other entries until you present them live in the room.
Is my data private?
Yes. Photos are private to your project with no public links, they are never used to train AI models, and you can delete entries or the whole project anytime. See our Privacy Policy for details.
What happens after I cancel?
Your photos and projects stay put and you can still present them. You just cannot collect new uploads beyond the Free limit. Resume anytime to unlock the higher limits again.
Can I use PhotoToss for birthdays, weddings, schools, or reunions?
Yes. It works for school dances and PAC events, milestone birthdays, weddings, family reunions, retirement parties, and team parties. There is a tailored page for each, linked in the footer.
How do I cancel or delete my account?
Cancel a paid plan anytime from Plan & billing. You can export your data or permanently delete your account from Account settings.
